Once again this is a great version of this song. From an earlier post (4 years ago) Josh did this song. He promises he will “kill” this new updated version since he is now 22. What do you think? Which version is better? Either way Josh puts a lot of emotion into his songs and can definitely make it in the business with a little support. So spread the word and make him successful. I love the fact that there are so many talented people in the world who play music for the enjoyment of it, not for the $$$$. It is truly those people that should make the $$$$ in my opinion. That is what this site is all about. Helping people get noticed and become famous.

This song is very simple to play. Well the way that it is played in the video anyways. The chords used in this version are G-D-Em-D. When he gets further along it changes to C-D-Em. The whole song extends from these two chord progressions. Have fun learning the song and put your own twist on it. What do you think of this video?

Obviously anytime you can get an acoustic version of a hit song done by the original artist it is a plus. This song looks relatively easy to play. I haven’t figured it out yet but it shows a Capo on the 1st fret and some of the basic chords to get you started are G-Am-A-C these are in no particular order but they should get you started. Some of the vocals that Jay Sean does in this song are a little stretched but it goes to show that even the original artists who play acoustically have trouble sounding smooth all the time. It gives the rest of us some hope. LOL

This is a very good job on this song and once again goes to show that with a little intuition and some practice, you can turn an otherwise routine song into something great. I could listen to Acoustic guitar everyday and songs like this gives me the passion to keep learning and playing

This song is covered by JRA. If you don’t know who he is, check him out. He is an up and coming artist who has a good solid voice. He is originally from Alaska. Hope you like this cover. I like this version of the song. You can see the chords fairly clear. The chords are G-Em-F#m-Bm. Just play around with the strum pattern and get your own feel for this song. They do a good version of this song and I was surprised that it was this good. If you watch to the end you will guarantee get a giggle. When I first saw this video I wasn’t too sure what to think but as I continued to watch, it started to grow on me. I believe that any cover of a hip hop/Rap song is worthy of at least a listen. I know from experience how many hours people spend on figuring out and arranging song/covers. For that alone I recommend giving this video a watch. The middle part of this video (Coolio song) is actually arranged nicely. The guitar works even though the pattern is different from the original song. Give it a listen and let us know what you think.

This is a pretty laid back version of this song but it does bring a different thought process if you are thinking about covering this song. He has the Capo on the 5th fret. I haven’t figured out the chord structure for this song so you may have to get creative and try it by ear. The easiest way to do that is to put your capo on the 5th fret and then play the chords that you know and see which ones sound closest to the way it is in the video. Good luck learning this song and have fun playing it.
