Obviously anytime you can get an acoustic version of a hit song done by the original artist it is a plus. This song looks relatively easy to play. I haven’t figured it out yet but it shows a Capo on the 1st fret and some of the basic chords to get you started are G-Am-A-C these are in no particular order but they should get you started. Some of the vocals that Jay Sean does in this song are a little stretched but it goes to show that even the original artists who play acoustically have trouble sounding smooth all the time. It gives the rest of us some hope. LOL

This is an amazing video that shows no matter how easy the chord structure and the strum pattern are that the song can still be hard to put together. As shown by Jon who wrote this song, he still has trouble at the beginning playing and timing his own song. It did not take him long to figure it out but just goes to show that it takes time and practice to get your songs down. This is the only video I could find to show this song acoustically. As you can see the guitar isn’t the hard part it is putting it all together. Good luck and have fun with this song.

This is a cover done by Trace Bundy. It is a great version of this song and shows how creative you can be with just a guitar and some imagination. The video quality is really good and this is a must watch video. I have watched it many times and still enjoy it very much. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I like this version that Daughtry does. The great thing is that you can see the chords on this version and you can follow along with his strum. In my opinion there are better versions out there but this is one more way to play the song. Good luck learning, playing and sharing.

Here is an original hip hop song done on the guitar. At first I wasn’t too sure about the song but if you give the full song a listen you will understand that it is pretty good. Goes to show again that when a song is broken down into original roots of acoustic guitar that they sound great. Once you give this song a listen it should inspire you to find a two or three chord progression and throw some lyrics at them. Who knows you may end up with something fantastic.

There is not much to say about this video. If you are in the midst of all the change in the US with a new president and a new “beginning” then this video will be worth watching. I enjoyed it and even was more positive after watching. We will see in 4 or 8 years if this video is still all the craze. Hope you like it.

I really have watched and listened to this video over a hundred times. It kept me positive and I just think it is a brilliant idea to put speeches like this into a song. I recommend listening to this video but even more, watch for the structure of this song and how well it flows together. It just amazes me how it is all put together.
