Obviously anytime you can get an acoustic version of a hit song done by the original artist it is a plus. This song looks relatively easy to play. I haven’t figured it out yet but it shows a Capo on the 1st fret and some of the basic chords to get you started are G-Am-A-C these are in no particular order but they should get you started. Some of the vocals that Jay Sean does in this song are a little stretched but it goes to show that even the original artists who play acoustically have trouble sounding smooth all the time. It gives the rest of us some hope. LOL

Another great cover done by Derek on this song. I enjoy the emotion and detail he puts into his covers and when you watch the video you can tell how much he enjoys playing and performing. Usually after I watch one of his video’s it makes me want to pick up my guitar and play a few songs. So I am going to do just that. Enjoy the video and have a great day.

This is an amazing video that shows no matter how easy the chord structure and the strum pattern are that the song can still be hard to put together. As shown by Jon who wrote this song, he still has trouble at the beginning playing and timing his own song. It did not take him long to figure it out but just goes to show that it takes time and practice to get your songs down. This is the only video I could find to show this song acoustically. As you can see the guitar isn’t the hard part it is putting it all together. Good luck and have fun with this song.

Ria does such a good job on this song. The acoustic version of this song is really impressive. I wasn’t sure how this song was going to sound acoustically but once I listened to it this way, I like it better. I am a big fan of getting a song down to its roots and playing it without all the computerized crapola. I really believe that you will enjoy this video. I really enjoyed this version of this song. I am going to try to find something that shows the guitar. The guitar isn’t very hard but I know how much easier it is to learn if you have something you can see. This song is good for the timing and the structure. So we all know that Andrew was on American Idol. I hope you realize that when you give your self a chance at becoming something and you follow your dreams anything can truly happen. I recommend checking out more from Andrew and from Cathy as they are both very talented.

There is not much to say about this video. If you are in the midst of all the change in the US with a new president and a new “beginning” then this video will be worth watching. I enjoyed it and even was more positive after watching. We will see in 4 or 8 years if this video is still all the craze. Hope you like it.

I really have watched and listened to this video over a hundred times. It kept me positive and I just think it is a brilliant idea to put speeches like this into a song. I recommend listening to this video but even more, watch for the structure of this song and how well it flows together. It just amazes me how it is all put together.

This video surprised me. I wasn’t really sure what I was looking for or what I was imagining. I was really surprised and delighted to hear this version of this song. It still holds many of the original concepts but has a twist to it and it is made into his own. Overall a very good job on this song.
